Sally Dana was last seen at 3GT in the world premiere of AJ Baker’s Disruption at Z Below, where she created the leading role of Andy Powell. Her many roles at SF Playhouse include Barbara in Barbecue, playing multiple characters in the Sandbox Series world premiere of Zenith, Kate in the Sandbox world premiere of On Clover Road and playing multiple roles in the musical Dogfight. Some of Sally’s other stage appearances include Regina in The Little Foxes with Tides Theatre, Central Work’s world premiere of The Education of a Rake, the world premiere of Campo Santo’s The Language of Angels for which she won a Dean Goodman’s choice award for the role of Danielle, A Common Vision at Magic Theatre, Something in the Air at the B Street and a 2 year run in the comedy Shear Madness. Sally was an ensemble member in Julie Taymor and Elliot Goldenthal’s Obie award winning and Tony nominated Juan Darien. Sally performed in William Bivin’s comedy Pulp Scripture (2009 Best of the SF Fringe Festival), George Pfirrmann’s Arousal (2010 Best of the SF Fringe Festival) and Miles Pawski’s Heartbeat (2011 SF Fringe Festival) Sally has been a singer and/or drummer with several rock bands and toured nationally as backup singer and dancer with Pussy Tourette. She spent several years in LA as a casting assistant, credits include Tropic Thunder, Charlie Wilson’s War, Georgia Rule, Knocked Up, Walk Hard, Valkyrie and the late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live. She is the resident casting director for 3Girls Theatre, where she has been a frequent actor participant in the Salon Reading Series since its inception. Sally received her theatrical training from Cornish College of the Arts. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.
