Lorrie Holt has been a leading actress in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than three decades, working for Berkeley Rep, ACT, The Aurora, The Magic, Marin Theatre Company, SF Playhouse, and many others, and she is an Associate Artist with 3Girls Theatre. Most recently, she’s been seen at the Marsh in both Berkeley and San Francisco with her acclaimed solo show, COLETTE UNCENSORED. Her many credits include : Micheleine in the Aurora Theatre’s acclaimed production of SPLENDOUR by Abi Morgan, Joyce Rumsfeld in MOUNT MISERY by Andrew Saito at the Cutting Ball Theater, Masha in VANYA & SONIA & MASHA & SPIKE at Berkeley Rep, Ella in CURSE OF THE STARVING CLASS at the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia, and Susan in BECKY SHAW at SF Playhouse. For ten years she was a leading actress with San Francisco’s acclaimed Eureka Theatre, where she played dozens of roles, and originated the role of Harper Pitt in Tony Kushner’s ANGELS IN AMERICA. Regional and international credits include work at Birmingham Rep in England, the Barbican Theatre in London, La Jolla Playhouse, and Actors Theatre of Louisville. Her most recent film credit is Josh Kornbluth’s new film, LOVE & TAXES. Lorri holds a BA in dramatic art from UC Berkeley and an MFA in writing and literature from Bennington College, and has received honors and awards for both her acting and her published short stories. COLETTE UNCENSORED was nominated for Theatre Bay Area’s award for Outstanding Solo Production and Bay Area Theater Critics Circle’s award for Outstanding Solo Performance in 2017. Member, AEA.
