3GT in the Time of COVID

It’s safe to say that 2020 had a number of twists and turns no one saw  coming.

“Normal” is an ever-changing and evolving concept, and 3GTwill keep evolving to face whatever challenges and changes confront us during this extraordinary time.

For the foreseeable future, 3GT is suspending public in-person performances in order to respect and protect the safety and health of our audiences and our artists.

The good news is that live performance is only one piece of 3GT’s mission. Our Company is privileged to be working with hundreds of theatre artists who support our mission to develop, promote and present new plays by Bay Area women. Each of our programs and projects put women playwrights first, providing them with artistic space, tools and resources to develop their talents and create outstanding new theatre. While stages are dark, 3GT remains fully engaged in this important work, staying true to  our mission while meeting the new responsibility we hold to each other around maintaining our communal safety.

It’s an unprecedented time of both creativity and compromise, so  we’re letting our imaginations soar high as we explore new ways to best  serve you, our 3GT family.

Despite the challenges,  you can be sure that 3Girls Theatre is committed to keep developing, promoting, and presenting women’s voices in 2020 and beyond.
